As a strategist at Sapient I help end-ups act more like the start-ups that try to disrupt them. We use a mix of ethnography, design thinking, lean startup methodology and agile coaching to help our clients thrive in this connected Internet century where you can realize ideas from scratch in a weekend and scale them to $1B in a year.

 

 

Experience 

I co-founded my first company at 21. Since then I spent 6 years as an entrepreneur — building media platforms and marketplace startups across Europe, Russia and the UK. Most of my efforts have been spent in the media- and educational space — finding ways of inspiring gifted professionals to share what they do best with others.

Research & Writing

In the past I have partnered with private and public institutions to research a range of topics — including: design methodologies, digital transformation, human intelligence and educational systems. Some of this work I will soon be publishing here on the site. 

Consultancy

I take part in think tanks and research groups — And I have advised founders of early-stage start-ups, CEOs of larger organizations, national ministers, universities and NGOs. I've been lucky to work with established institutions and clients such as: BBC, Unilever, The Danish Broadcasting Corporation, The UK Post Office, Audi, Google, Barclays, British Airways and Diageo.

Education 

I studied Strategy, Organizational Theory and Communication at Roskilde University (BA, Denmark), Digital Media Management At Hyper Island (MA, United Kingdom) — and at Strelka Institute of Media, Design and Architecture (Residency, Russia) I researched 'The Past, Present & Future of Education' with the goal of developing strategies for bringing better higher education to more people without sacrificing the costly elements of human interaction and learning-by-doing.
